problem loading presets

Hi guys,

I have a problem with some presets I made. They won't load at all, nothing happens when I click import. One of them gives me a message saying "Error loading style, can't xref object" after which it opens a thumbnail but RC object remains empty.
What could cause this. I've made hundreds of presets so far and never had a problem like this

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you are facing these issues. Could you please provide the complete error or warning message you received? A screenshot would be ideal. Also, please check if the file exists in the corresponding location. Any additional information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for replying, in the meantime I've solved the problem with the error, RailClone object name was accidentally changed and didn't match the library entry.

Still I have a problem with two of the presets not loading at all, withouth any error messages. I've double checked the paths and object names, everything is correct.

What's weird is that I made several presets that day, two of them are not loading and the rest is working fine. All of them are saved in the same folder on a network drive. When I move the file to a local drive and create a new entry in the library it works, but not from network drive where we keep all our other presets.

That's really strange. If these styles load correctly from a local drive, I would suggest that you check the permissions for all these problematic files. Also, make sure that they don't contain any "special characters" in the path - only Latin characters and/or numbers should be used.

Hi Michal,

I've found out why it was happening. You helped when you mentioned special characters. File paths and names did not contain any special characters, but the names of presets inside RailClone library browser did. When I removed the / from names everything was ok.
