It's nice to see the updated branding for iToo, but I think some priorities are being missed here, like updating and fixing the existing software that we actually pay for? For sure, RailClone has been handy over the years, and I still use it occasionally, but the fact is: Barring a few library updates/additions made several years back, it hasn't changed much since version 1. We've been hearing of the RC Libraries getting a rolling update for years now, but it really doesn't seem like that's ever going to happen.
Included is just one example among so many for Pipe 1, which has all the same problems it always has: gaps between the pipe and flange sections, and nuts/fasteners with no option for a chamfer. And the answer here is not: "But these problems can be fixed in the Style Editor." The entire reason to even use software such as this is to save time: To not have to do coding and scripting on my own and instead get on with the work I've been hired to do.
Overall, we still have exactly three options under Industrial: Cylindrical Duct (misspelled as Cilyndrical BTW), Rectangular Duct, and Pipe 1 (which would imply that other Pipes might be offered, but they aren't).
I almost never use any of the Street or Road libraries because they are still clunky to implement, and nowhere near detailed enough in terms of geometry nor texturing. And of the Libraries I do use? It's still like they've all been left to die in "future development." The updates from a couple of years back were literally the lowest hanging fruit possible. Bollards? We can already do that several ways within Max itself or with VRay proxies. In fact, nearly all the "new" additions fit in this category: just a simple array via a path using a proxie object.
