Slice composed object
« on: August 01, 2023, 02:01:48 PM »
Hello!

I´m doing a lot of visuals of future solar parks so I´m trying to create a parametric object of a typical solar park. I want the rows of solar panels to follow the terrain but I want the beams to always stay vertical. I have also added a parameter to conttrol the tils angle of the solar panels with the rear beams following the height of the back. To achieve this, I have created a composed item that consists of the panels and the front and rear beams. This objext is plugged into the X Evenly of an array. Everything works perfect except for one thing. The solar panels are set to not being sliced so the follow the edge of a spline area in a realistic way. The problem is that the beams are added outide of the bounding of the composed object. I´m wondering if there is a way to remove the beams outside of the solar panels or if the is another solution that would solve my problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If possible, please upload / send us your scene (ideally simplified and containing just this problematic object(s)) and we'll check it. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
