Y Offset problem in curved Curb
« on: February 22, 2023, 07:33:53 PM »
Hi there, i have this curb based on one of your tutorials.

This style generates a sidewalk before the curb, everything works beautifully but i have this new project where the road is a little ..... complicated, and the curbs behaivior isnt what expected, i have connected an expression in the "Y offset" in order to move the curb with the size of the sidewalk, Im not very clever using expressions and this was the only thing that occured to me when i did this style, but having this, the curb is moving in different heights along the spline.

This could be solved adding another spline with the corresponding offset but its not very practical, hope you could help me guiding me with a solution for this.

Here I attach a 3ds max file (2020) with the style with that im using.

Thanks for all the hardwork.
Best rewards, Carlos.

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch. Please try changing the Segment's deform modes to adaptive to fix it.

All the best,

Paul
