Hi Martin,

Could it be that there are multiple objects in the scene? If so, you can use the * in the <object> tag:
Code: [Select]
<object>*</object>to attach these objects during the import process.

Hi Martin,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing. To avoid this problem, the safest approach is to adjust the folder permissions in your system. Alternatively, if you want to "lock" the library from being edited within the Library Browser, you can add the
Code: [Select]
readonly="1" tag to the header of the corresponding index.xml file in your library.

Had to download content from evermotion again, reloading and get this wierd import, one of the max files has been split into two Object files? I have gone through the import procedure twice and tried to reload the max file again and it splits it again?

I am trying to restore custom libraries after PC re-build and the new Forest has the plant libraries listed on the left hand side of the dialogue box, but it is actually the original folders, I deleted a folder as it had no content shown and the files have diappeared from the server. Not into the recycle bin but gone lost for ever, who thought that was a good idea?? How do I remove this facility as it is far to dangerous to leave as it is?

i just had to re-create my custom library after PC re-build, and noticed that whilst trying to re-organise the library folders inside the Forest editor, it deleted content from the server location? Is this really possible as it seems very dangerous?

I would really LOVE to have city streets, more highways and such.
And also perhaps some buildings for city, doesn´t have to be high detail or so, but easy to replace after creations.
-But city roads
-Road markings (city and highway)
-Buildings to add along roads

For render engines without an SDK, such as Redshift and several others, we cannot add support ourselves. Instead, we offer an internal API written in C++ for the 3ds Max SDK. Renderer developers can use this API to generate instances directly in their engines. Therefore, the implementation of our plugin features depends primarily on the developers of each specific render engine, and I suggest reaching out to them directly or via their forum. I'm afraid there isn't much more we can do on our side, although we will happily collaborate with them if improvements can be made. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,

The segments in the mentioned preset are designed to ensure that the back of the sidewalk remains at the same height. You may notice that the sidewalk behind the drop curb is not flat but forms a ramp. If you’d like to customize it, you can open the Style Editor and use the Segments > Extract feature. This will add the segment to your scene, allowing you to select it easily via the quad menu > Select RailClone Segment, and modify it to suit your needs.

The same applies to the gap. If you set the Paving Gap parameter to 0, there will be no gap. However, the chamfer in the geometry might still be too noticeable. Feel free to adjust these segments as needed to achieve your desired result.

Probably it's the same problem.
Chaos confirmed us the crashing issue is a bug introduced in V-Ray 7 GPU. They will release a fix asap.

I will check the viewport bug, which has not relation with the other issues.
