Sincerely, we have not revisited this issue in quite some time. Last time we tried different methods without success.
No promises, but i will take a look to it again.

I would suggest checking out the ‘Randomising Shop Fronts and Facades’ tutorial, together with the ‘Create a Building Generator and Master the A2S Generator’ tutorial. These should help you build your own facade style using Sequence Operators. I hope this helps.
Best regards,

Please find attached a revised version of your scene, edited by my colleague Paul. It features a modified version of the Gradient Probability macro that uses the Z position (XSplineCoords.z) instead of the spline position. I hope this helps.

I am just about to start modelling Regent street in central London which has similar classical facades and remembered this 10 second tip.
fingers crossed
Anthony

The gradient probability macro works as the seats go down the rows, but I'm looking to do this from top to bottom. Is it also possible to do this with 3 colors?

« Last post by RealViz on July 16, 2025, 10:41:50 am »Hi Dustin,Hi, this problem comes up a lot here. I thought of a possible solution. How about simply limiting the scale to e.g. 150% by default. For example, add a "Max scale" parameter for "Scale to fit sloped area". Just an idea for improvement.
Please try disabling the Surfaces > Scale to fit sloped area option as a quick fix to see if it helps. However, for better control in this region, it may be necessary to use smaller distribution patches or a detailed preset. You can create an additional Forest object specifically for this problematic area and combine it with the larger Forest object by using a Forest Exclude Area. I hope this helps.
