50% row like a regular parquet
« on: Today at 07:19:24 am »
Hi All,

Im trying to achieve a simple 50% offset on each second row. Like floor generator would do the trick but it seems over complicated. Any idea how to do it without adding a 50% smaller mesh and a bench of extra nodes?

thank you

the main remaining questions would be "why not adding a custom select mesh option" ?... and "to whom box 004 and box 003 are referring to" ?

lucky im not in charge of licencing where i work.. this plugin is total time waister.

Hi,

You can place a ‘half-sized’ Segment (adjust its size using the exported value from the main Segment via an Arithmetic Operator), then alternate the rows using a Sequence Operator. If you’d like, feel free to upload or send us your scene and we’ll be happy to take a look.

Let me mention that we acknowledge that RailClone has a steeper learning curve compared to Forest Pack. In order to help users become familiar with RailClone, we have an ongoing series of tutorials that you may find helpful, as well as detailed documentation. I would recommend checking our RailClone "Getting Started with RailClone" guide followed by our "Next Steps with RailClone" guide as well.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
