How can I reference distribute cars in a Z undulated carpark?
« on: October 14, 2020, 12:58:45 PM »
Hi guys

So typically this is pretty simple, IF your carpark is flat. But what if it's sloped, and not just in 1 direction either......

Is there in EASY way to get the 4 wheels to touch the tarmac instead of the pivot of the car?

Hi. I can't imagine how. This task seems has some physics involved. ForestPack does not do physics.

For rough settings it is enough to have the align set to normal. Then detach the individual objects and align them manually. Detach only objects that are focused in closeup render.

Thats great for 4 or 5 cars, on a still.

Not so great for 50 in a still and 300 in an animation

Yes. But when you have good placed pivot, align to normal on 99% car work great. So even in 500 or more car there will be only 5-10 car that need to manual correction.
