Tree geometry faceted inside ForestPack
« on: January 24, 2025, 03:15:22 PM »
Hello,
I have a problem with geometries for a tree 3d Block:
When the geometry is included within an FP element, the geometry turns faceted.
As you can see in the attached image.

Can you please help me?

Hi,

If possible, please feel free to send us your scene (ideally simplified and containing just this problematic object(s)) to helpdesk@itoosoft.com to check it here. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

It seems that it wasn’t sent or delivered for some reason - we haven’t received it yet. Would you mind sending it again? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for warning me about the missing email received.
I've now sent a WeTransfer with the email subject same as thread title here.

Please check the attached another test I rendered and let me know in case something is missing in the scene.

Thanks!

Just for the record:
The problem has been solved by applying a SMOOTH modifier (with AutoSmooth option on) to the source 3D geometry (not to the forest pack object!).

This has solved the issue!
Thanks a lot!
