Array Tiles and espesific Edge
« on: January 14, 2015, 02:45:18 PM »
Dear users and technicians.
I need to create a carpet tile but with a specific edge.
Try them separately but not very well.
any idea how to generate a specific edge to a flat distribution?
without having to make two instances of RailClone.?

regards

Hi,

Please find attached a possible solution that uses an A2S array with a Clipping Path set to Extend X/Y Size to Area to create the Carpet and then uses the same spline with an L1S array for the edging. I've also included a separate style for the tiles that uses the top, bottom and corner inputs of an A2S generator to create a tiled section with a border. This has been built from individual tiles and uses the Compose operator and padding and transforms to create a double layer around the perimeter.

I hope that helps, if you have any questions about the style please let me know.

Many thanks,

Paul
