The tutorial 'Mapping Tiles and Bricks' is extremely useful and helpful. I am having an issue though.

When scaling the stacked brick on horizontally, it won't scale in small increments. It snaps to larger increments which makes using it in a project problematic. Should you need to line it up with other brick, the joints wind up being either too far apart or too close. I can't just adjust it very slowly to get it perfect. The vertical scaling is fine and you can drive it up and down all you want will ease.

I think it may have to do with the expression used to create the grout width.

if(SegmentXCounter=1,
if(mod(SegmentYCounter,2) = 0,-Input1/2,Input2)
,Input2)

Anyone else had issue with this and found a workaround? I'm not a coder so I can't re-engineer the expression.

Hi,

If you need to adjust the U/V Tiling & Offset values precisely, you can adjust the Spinner - Precision & Snap settings for these exported parameters under the Preference Settings window (attaching screen-shot) or enter the value from keyboard.

Let me add, that the RC3 includes two easy-to-use Extract Tiles - Stack Bond & Extract Tiles - Running Bond macros.

Best regards,

Hi, I tried the RC3 and wonder if there is a simple way to make a stacked bond version, please?  I tried, but it quickly crashed Max2016 :(
Best regards

The Extract Tiles - Stack Bond macro can be found under Macros - UV and Materials. Attaching screen-shot.

Would you please save and send us  the minidump file of the crash? Thanks in advance.
