RailClone Pro (*) / Re: combining sequence and random segments
« Last post by Michal Karmazín on Today at 12:27:25 pm »Hi,
Yes, absolutely - there are several ways to achieve the desired setup. Probably the simplest approach is to use a Compose Operator in Sequence mode connected to the Start input of the generator, and a Randomize Operator wired to the Default input. I hope that helps.

RailClone Pro (*) / combining sequence and random segments
« Last post by tzaar on Today at 12:01:54 pm »Hi!
Is it possible to start with a specific sequence of segments on a spline, and then have the rest of it be random segments? For as long as the spline goes on?
I'm using evenly to distribute my segments on a linear generator.

Hi, you can use a procedural Gradient map, adding some noise to get a progressive density distribution.

« Last post by Michal Karmazín on Today at 08:47:22 am »Hi,
In order to align with these vertices when Corner > Bevel Mode is set to None, you can add an empty Segment to the Corner input of the Generator. Increasing the Style > Curve Steps value can help improve interpolation quality. Please find attached a revised version of your scene. I hope this helps.

Found it.
I thought it was section to choose what parts of FP to install.
Thank you

RailClone Pro (*) / Corners ignored with bevel mode none but distorted geometry with all other modes
« Last post by MW0462 on July 05, 2025, 07:33:12 pm »I have a curved panel I'm extruding along a path using RailClone. The seams between the panels are getting stretched along curves in the path. If I set bevel mode to "none" the seams are correct but corners are ignored so the spacing is all wrong. If I set the bevel mode to anything else, the seams stretch but the locations are correct. How do I get the seams to not stretch on curves but also respect corners? Pictures and max file attached.

Thank you.
Thank you.

« Last post by Michal Karmazín on July 04, 2025, 02:16:44 pm »Hi,
There is no need for any special process - our plug-ins support multiple 3ds Max versions, and the installer should handle the installation process automatically. It might be that for some, 3ds Max 2025 isn't detected by the installer. When installing, in the Select Installation Type window, please check the Advanced Installation option - that will enable the selection of versions that aren't "detected" (in this case, 3ds Max 2025).
I hope that helps you, and please let us know if everything is working fine or if you are still facing trouble with it. Thanks in advance and have a great day.

« Last post by swavec on July 04, 2025, 01:57:51 pm »Hi
Im installing FP and there is no choice for what MAX version install to.
It installs to 2022 ignoring 2025 version. Repeating installation process doesn't change anything.
Is it possible to have double installation of FP? Haw to choose MAX version?
Thank You
