Because it often happens that trees for single shots change position/rotation etc. slightly. This is not possible inside FP. Now I need to make it as a detach in another FP and then convert it to isntance using FP_toolbox. Which is quite awkward and tedious.
Or if it would be possible to animate objects in the case of "Custom Edit" :-)

You can control the Z Fixed Scale value of the used Segment - and consequently its bending - by referencing the XSplineCoords.z attribute. Please find attached a sample scene (250624_RCXSplineCoordsSampleScene_ITOOSOFT.max). I hope this helps.
Best regards,

« Last post by FE2763 on June 24, 2025, 02:26:48 pm »hello there, i need help
in the image you see two arrays of bars; one arc is composed by straight bars and the other by bending bars;
i need just one arc (path) which starts with straight bars, and gradually those bars bend in the middle (upper part) ;
do you have an hint or a tip to achieve that ?
thanks!

Upon reviewing the code, it appears that the previously mentioned "option_changed" event is not implemented in the current version of the Library Browser. It was inherited from an earlier version, but it is not currently in use. Thank you for your understanding.

As I am testing out options I am running into trouble triggering the "option_changed" event. Does this need the class of the changed option passed in somehow?

We have decided to remove the Spline > Roofing Operator from the final release due to some unresolved issues for which no reliable solution is currently available. However, we have not ruled out the possibility of revisiting this feature in future versions.
